ACTIVITIES OF THE TRINITY OF GOD IN THE NEW AGE

Today's Word of God tells us: Jesus taught His disciples how to pray in a way that pleases God the Father—through the Lord's Prayer.

There are two places in this world: Heaven is the place of eternal happiness, where God the Father reigns. The earth is where the creatures God created live, with human beings as the highest of all. Both heaven and earth are places where God the Father is always present and reigns. And the greatest joy for humanity is that God the Father dwells and reigns in souls that live in purity, holiness, and love.

In today's Word of God, God revealed to everyone the law of ancient people, which taught, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” This was considered a law of justice and retribution at that time and in the social context. People regarded it as appropriate and perfect.

God is the Absolute Almighty; humans cannot fully understand or comprehend His ways: "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, my thoughts higher than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:9). In the Old Testament, the Jewish people understood that "The LORD is our God, the LORD alone!" (Deuteronomy 6:4). While teaching the apostles, Jesus said: "The Father and I are one" and also spoke of "the Advocate, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send

In today's Word of God, God the Father teaches all mankind that He is the One who sees everything.

God the Father calls us to remember His words and put them into practice, demonstrating them in our daily lives, especially when facing Satan's temptations. Satan will bring up subtle schemes we cannot recognize, causing us to stumble and displease God the Father.

The Word of God today teaches us how God instructed His Apostles both in the past and today to go out and preach the Gospel by placing love and obedience to God's will above all else.

Today’s Word of God teaches that God the Father calls His disciples to follow Him by bearing witness through their lives. They are to become like salt and light in the world. The nature of salt and light is to bring benefit to others—to lead people along the right path that God the Father calls them to follow.

Standing near the cross of Jesus were His mother and the disciple whom He loved. Before breathing His last breath on the cross, Jesus said to His beloved mother: “Woman, behold, your son.” Then He said to the disciple whom He loved: “Behold, your mother.” From that moment on, Jesus Christ entrusted Blessed Mother Mary to His entire Church.

The Holy Spirit is God, the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, who is always united with the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. In God’s work of salvation, neither the Father nor the Son are ever absent.

Before ascending to heaven, Jesus Christ promised to send the Holy Spirit—the Advocate—to mankind. But is it only after Jesus ascended to heaven that the Holy Spirit began working in people? No!

In today’s Word of God, God desires to reveal to all humanity His profound love for His disciples—especially for John and Peter, who followed Jesus Christ closely and accompanied Him as He publicly proclaimed the Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Today’s Word of God recounts the event of the resurrected Christ appearing to the apostles. In this appearance, Jesus asked Saint Peter three times, "Do you love me?" He asked three times to test Saint Peter's faith and devotion to God. Saint Peter responded, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” After Peter affirmed his love three times, he was entrusted with a sacred mission—to continue the work of Jesus Christ by caring for God’s flock.

After the Last Supper, Jesus went out to a deserted place to pray to God the Father, offering His petitions on behalf of all people in the world. This prayer comes from the deep love Jesus Christ has for His disciples, as well as for all those who listen to the disciples and believe in His name—Jesus Christ, the Second Person of God who came down to earth and became a human being.

First, Jesus offered all His disciples to God the Father. He asked God the Father to protect them, to keep them safe, and to help them become one as “We are one.” The word “We” refers to the unity of the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—three Persons in one God.

God is all-powerful, incomparably beautiful, and infinitely great. Meanwhile, humans are lowly, small, weak, sinful creatures who have betrayed God the Father. So why does God the Father still love, forgive, and show mercy to humans? It is because of His infinite love for humanity that He sacrificed and sent His only Son into the world to accompany and save us.

Jesus chose to call the disciples to follow Him. During the time He was with them and lived among them, He revealed many of God's glories and powers to strengthen their faith. As He was about to accept death on the Cross, the disciples could profess a single belief—that Jesus Christ is God.

Today, God wants me to share with all humanity about the Virgin Mary, whom God the Father placed in His work from the very beginning. It is through her cooperation in the work of Redemption by God the Son that we, humanity, received the grace of salvation.

The Word of God in today's Gospel recounts the event of the Lord's Ascension into Heaven, occurring 40 days after His death. But did the Lord truly return to Heaven after 40 days?
