FIRST READING - Is 62:1-5
"For the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be espoused."
A reading from the Book of Isaiah
1 [a]For Zion’s sake I will not be silent,
for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep still,
Until her vindication shines forth like the dawn
and her salvation like a burning torch.
2 Nations shall behold your vindication,
and all kings your glory;
You shall be called by a new name
bestowed by the mouth of the Lord.
3 You shall be a glorious crown in the hand of the Lord,
a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 No more shall you be called “Forsaken,”
nor your land called “Desolate,”
But you shall be called “My Delight is in her,”
and your land “Espoused.”
For the Lord delights in you,
and your land shall be espoused.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
your Builder shall marry you;
And as a bridegroom rejoices in his bride
so shall your God rejoice in you.
SECOND READING - Acts 13:16-17, 22-25

With uplifted arm he led them out of it 22 Then he removed him and raised up David as their king; of him he testified, ‘I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will carry out my every wish.’ 23 From this man’s descendants God, according to his promise, has brought to Israel a savior, Jesus. 24 John heralded his coming by proclaiming a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel; 25 and as John was completing his course, he would say, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. Behold, one is coming after me; I am not worthy to unfasten the sandals of his feet.’

2 Abraham became the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers. 3 Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, 4 Ram the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, 5 Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse, 6 Jesse the father of David the king.
David became the father of Solomon, whose mother had been the wife of Uriah. 7 [c]Solomon became the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asaph. 8 Asaph became the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, Joram the father of Uzziah. 9 Uzziah became the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah. 10 Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amos,[d] Amos the father of Josiah. 11 Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the Babylonian exile.
12 After the Babylonian exile, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, 13 Zerubbabel the father of Abiud. Abiud became the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor, 14 Azor the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim, Achim the father of Eliud, 15 Eliud the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob, 16 Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Of her was born Jesus who is called the Messiah.
17 Thus the total number of generations from Abraham to David is fourteen generations; from David to the Babylonian exile, fourteen generations; from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah, fourteen generations.[e]
[f] 18 Now this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph,[g] but before they lived together, she was found with child through the holy Spirit. 19 Joseph her husband, since he was a righteous man,[h] yet unwilling to expose her to shame, decided to divorce her quietly. 20 Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord[i] appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. 21 She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus,[j] because he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
23 [k]“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
which means “God is with us.” 24 When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home. 25 He had no relations with her until she bore a son,[l] and he named him Jesus.

Dear people of God,
In today’s Word of God, God calls upon all humanity to give thanks to God, for the love with which He was born as human to be with and nourish the souls of humanity.
God desires humanity to know the origin or the manner in which God allowed His Only Son to come into the world as a human.
All matters in the mysterious plan of God's Incarnation as man were planned by God the Father from the beginning of creation.
Everything rests in the authoritative hand of the Most High God.
God is the Giver of all blessings; when the time comes, He will carry out the plan He taught humanity.
Everything is due to the arrangement of the Most High God.
When God sees how humankind relates to Him, He will bestow upon humanity all things within His loving plan in each stage.
As in the beginning, God spoke a word, and all things in heaven and on earth were created.
Then came the time when God sent His prophets to speak His Word to all humanity.
All those who know how to fear and worship God must listen to the words of the prophets and put them into practice. For the words of the prophets come from God and are fulfilled by the providential hands of God. God knows exactly how humanity's history progresses.
Everything is due to His arrangement, just as in the Incarnation of the Son of God as man, He Himself is the One who bestows all blessings to humanity.
No one can interfere with His plan.
All creatures created by God must worship and turn towards Him.
God is the absolute and unparalleled power; all things and creatures must kneel and worship Him.
He is the greatest and only love; no one possesses a love as immense as His.
It is this very love that the enemy Satan must submit to.
Satan fears only God’s absolute love.
God loved mankind so much that He gave His Only Son to come into the world as man to dwell with and love humanity.
This is the greatest happiness for humankind.
Today’s Word of God, God calls upon all humanity to come to God, to come to His love, which is Jesus Christ, incarnate as man.
He is Emmanuel, given freely to humanity. God desires humanity to listen to God's word through the prophets and seers, through the words of God given to humankind from ancient times, that “The Savior will come and dwell among mankind.”
For over two thousand years, and to the present, God's word has been fulfilled: the Son of God Himself came into the world as man and has been and is with humanity until the end of time.
God is the perfect and faithful One.
He will bestow blessings upon all who are loyal, know how to fear, worship, and submit to Him alone.
God desires all children of humanity to know to come to Him with absolute trust and confidence, and to imitate His love, the only One.
Place your love in God and love your fellow human beings as God loves you.
God desires people throughout the world to come and submit, adore, and worship God, and to follow the example of the prophets and messengers by believing in the words He has spoken: The Only Begotten Son of God will come into the world to become man to love and accompany humanity.
Humanity will never be lonely, suffer, or face eternal death, but has God, who always loves and remains beside humanity. He will restore eternal life to humanity.
