FIRST READING - 2 Sm 6:12b-15, 17-19
"David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts of joy."
A reading from the letter of Samuel
12 When it was reported to King David that the Lord had blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that he possessed because of the ark of God, David went to bring up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the City of David with joy. 13 As soon as the bearers of the ark of the Lord had advanced six steps, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling. 14 Then David came dancing before the Lord with abandon, girt with a linen ephod.[a] 15 David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and sound of horn.

31 His mother and his brothers arrived. Standing outside they sent word to him and called him. 32 A crowd seated around him told him, “Your mother and your brothers[a] [and your sisters] are outside asking for you.” 33 But he said to them in reply, “Who are my mother and [my] brothers?” 34 And looking around at those seated in the circle he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 35 [For] whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

THE WORD OF GOD FOR EVERYONE
Dear people of God,
In today’s Word of God, God the Father wants all humanity to know that if those who wish to become children of God, brothers or sisters in the family of God the Father must practice His word just as Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, came down to earth as man.
Just as He absolutely obeyed the Holy Will of God the Father, so today, under the powerful action of the Holy Spirit, God the Father also wants all His children to always follow the spirit of the Holy Spirit and practice the Word that God the Father teaches.
Everything that comes from God is good, peaceful, joyful, happy, knowing how to fear God and not going against what He commands.
Like the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, they are those who obey the Holy Will of God the Father in all places and at all times. They put the word of God the Father into practice. Therefore, they please God the Father.
God the Father wants everyone to listen to the Word Jesus Christ teaches: “For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
His Holy Will is the Word that brings eternal life; that is the Word of Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God the Father; those are the words of revelation that God the Father commanded priests and prophets to transmit to mankind.
God the Father calls upon all humanity to repent, abandon the path of sin, and return to God the Father.
Facing extreme suffering, He calls upon all humanity to serve, worship God the Father alone as the only One. and fear Him, practicing only the ways God teaches. God the Father also reminds all His children to abandon foreign gods, all kinds of false idols created by humans.
For those gods are merely lifeless objects; those gods cannot bring eternal life to mankind.
God the Father wants people to be vigilant and worship Him alone as the only One who brings life, who brings eternal happiness to humanity.
