“Whoever blasphemes against the holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.” (Mk 3:29)

FIRST READING - 2 Sm 5:1-7, 10

"You shall shepherd my people Israel."

A reading from the Second Book of Samuel

All the tribes of Israel came to David in Hebron, and they said: “Look! We are your bone and your flesh. In days past, when Saul was still our king, you were the one who led Israel out in all its battles and brought it back. And the Lord said to you: You shall shepherd my people Israel; you shall be ruler over Israel.” Then all the elders of Israel came to the king in Hebron, and at Hebron King David made a covenant with them in the presence of the Lord; and they anointed David king over Israel. David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years: in Hebron he was king over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he was king thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.

[a] Then the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites who inhabited the land. They told David, “You shall not enter here: the blind and the lame will drive you away!” which was their way of saying, “David shall not enter here.” David nevertheless captured the fortress of Zion, which is the City of David.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY - Mk 3:22-30

"That is the end of him."

From the Gospel according to Mark

22 The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,”[a] and “By the prince of demons he drives out demons.”

23 Summoning them, he began to speak to them in parables, “How can Satan drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand; that is the end of him. 27 But no one can enter a strong man’s house to plunder his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house. 28 Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them. 29 But whoever blasphemes against the holy Spirit[b] will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.” 30 For they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”

THE WORD OF GOD FOR EVERYONE

Dear people of God,

In today’s Word of God, God reminds humanity that no one should arrogantly offend God or desecrate the holy name of the Most High God. For this is a very grave sin that cannot be forgiven. Just as Satan did in the past, they offended God. They were arrogant, demanding to be equal to the Most High God and claiming to possess the same power and authority as God the Father.

God the Father reminds humanity not to be arrogant like Satan, and not to oppose and offend the holy name of God the Father. For the Word of God the Father has declared: "Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness."

The Holy Spirit is the Lord of Love, who is unsurpassed in beauty and exalted above all creation; without Him, humanity cannot exist.

These are what God the Father requires humanity to be aware of: do not listen to Satan's instigation to rebel against God, against His holy name, and to blaspheme the Sacred Body of Christ, which is Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, all the graces and gifts God bestows upon humanity come from the Holy Spirit's spiritual actions.

Humans must be vigilant against Satan’s deceptive schemes and temptations, for they will deceive humanity so that we cannot discern what God the Father’s holy will is, what the spiritual power of the Holy Spirit is, what evil comes from Satan is, and what the false spirit coming from Satan is.

God the Father wants to remind humanity's children that all must revere and worship Him. Even Satan must bow down and worship before the holy presence of God the Father. All human beings are bound to worship God.

Do not offend the sacred name of God anymore!

Do not offend the spirit of the Holy Spirit, and do not offend the Sacred Body and Blood of Jesus Christ anymore.

God the Father makes known to humanity that we must be vigilant and not offend any of the prophets or apostles whom God the Father has chosen in the world today to proclaim His mercy and salvation to all humanity. For arrogant people living in sin will not be able to distinguish between the spirit coming from Satan and the Spirit coming from the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, never hastily offend the spiritual influence at work in those whom God has chosen and called in His plan. They are powerful instruments in God the Father’s plan of salvation and mercy.

We can judge a tree by its fruit; we must be vigilant!

Do not be deceived by Satan’s temptations into thinking that these are the spirits coming from Satan, that these are evils; do not believe them. Choose the wisdom that comes from God and carefully learn about the plan that God the Father has established in Bao Loc, Vietnam. A place where God is manifesting His power through the angels, the chosen and the appointed prophets, who are humble and simple people, without voice or authority.

Do not offend them, or any place where God the Father sends them to work and collaborate in His plan of Sanctification. Instead, examine ourselves and repent, only acknowledging our sins and resolving to abandon them.

Ask God to grant us the grace to live in meekness and a humble life.

May God teach us to fear Him wholeheartedly and to do all things according to His holy will.

Only in this way will God protect us from the control of Satan and from eternal death that separates us from God’s love and mercy.

Thanks be to God. Amen.
