FIRST READING - Zeph 2:3, 3:12-13
"But I will leave as a remnant in your midst a people humble and lowly."
A reading from the Book of Zephaniah
3 Seek the Lord,
all you humble of the land,
who have observed his law;
Seek justice,
seek humility;
Perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the Lord’s anger.
12 But I will leave as a remnant in your midst
a people humble and lowly,
Who shall take refuge in the name of the Lord—
13 the remnant of Israel.
They shall do no wrong
and speak no lies;
Nor shall there be found in their mouths
a deceitful tongue;
They shall pasture and lie down
with none to disturb them.
SECOND READING - 1 Cor 1:26-31
"God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong."
A reading from the Letter to the Corinthians
26 Consider your own calling, brothers. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong, 28 and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something, 29 so that no human being might boast[a] before God. 30 It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.”
GOSPEL OF THE DAY - Mt 5:1-12a
"Blessed are the poor in spirit."
✠From the Gospel according to Matthew
1 [a]When he saw the crowds,[b] he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. 2 He began to teach them, saying:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,[d]
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 [e]Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 [f]Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
6 Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,[g]
for they will be satisfied.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 [h]Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,[i]
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you [falsely] because of me. 12 [j]Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Sunday of the Fourth Week in Ordinary Time Gospel (Matthew 5:1-12a)
THE WORD OF GOD FOR EVERYONE
Dear people of God,
In today's Word of God, God the Father calls upon all humanity to be wise and run to God, calling upon Him.
For He alone is the only One who brings eternal life to humanity, He alone is the only One who created all things and all creatures, and He alone is the only One who sacrificed Himself to bring eternal happiness to humanity.
God the Father wishes to instruct His children not to listen to the instigation of Satan anymore, not to oppose His holy will anymore, but to be modest and humble to obey the holy will of God the Father, not to yield to Satan’s temptations anymore so that your soul and body will not be controlled or imprisoned by Satan.
Let go of wicked deeds and our doubts about His plan in this new era.
Right within God's plan of salvation, through the teachings of Jesus Christ, He desires to call all His children to believe absolutely that the Word Jesus Christ taught is true, for He came into the world to save humanity from eternal death, yet humanity arrogantly opposes God, offended the sacrificial salvation and the love of Jesus Christ, seeking to eliminate Him, seeking to kill Him, seeking to eliminate the words of the prophets who preached long ago, announcing that Jesus Christ, who is God, had come into the world.
It is not only the people of the past who opposed God and opposed His teachings. But in the world today, God the Father wants humanity to know that Satan is rampant, tempting people greatly to oppose the work of God the Father, oppose the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the Real and Present Word of God during the time of the Holy Spirit's activity.
O all who hear the Word taught by God the Father, live and act according to the Word He teaches, do not disobey the holy will of God the Father anymore, do not be arrogant, do not scrutinize the Word of God anymore, but be simple, gentle, bow down, prostrate yourselves, and practice according to the Word the Lord teaches, and it will bring eternal life to humanity in the Kingdom of Heaven hereafter.
Today's Word of God calls upon all humanity to always live in meekness, humility, and simplicity, submitting to God the Father’s holy will.
Do not be disobedient to God any more because of Satan’s temptations, for Satan seeks every way to drag humanity to their side and to exclude God through arrogance.
Submit to the holy will that God the Father teaches in daily life; the Eternal Word of God, reiterated in the Real and Present Word of God, is to live gently, humbly, simply, fearing and obeying the holy will of God the Father in all places and at all times.
Always glorify, give thanks, and worship Him throughout your life while still living on this earth.
God the Father desires today’s humanity not to fall into the temptations of Satan, as in the past, they opposed God's holy will, which means for today opposing the Real and Present Word of God and opposing the preaching of the prophets in this new era.
Do good and virtuous deeds, love all things, and fear God, fearing the Real and Present Word of God and putting it into practice.
Only by no longer disobeying the holy will of God the Father can one's soul and body be in the Kingdom of Heaven and attain eternal life. And God the Father also warns all His prophets in this new era that when they follow Jesus Christ, they will also have to endure suffering, persecution, condemnation, and rejection.
But continue to trust in the providence and guidance of God, for God the Father safeguards, protects, and shelters one's soul and body in the love and providence of God the Father and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thanks be to God. Amen.
