FIRST READING - Rev 7:2-4, 9-14
"I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue."
A reading from the Book of Revelation
2 Then I saw another angel come up from the East,[a] holding the seal of the living God. He cried out in a loud voice to the four angels who were given power to damage the land and the sea, 3 “Do not damage the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 I heard the number of those who had been marked with the seal, one hundred and forty-four thousand marked[b] from every tribe of the Israelites: 9 After this I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches[a] in their hands. 10 They cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation comes from[b] our God, who is seated on the throne, and from the Lamb.”
11 All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God, 12 and exclaimed:
“Amen. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
13 Then one of the elders spoke up and said to me, “Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from?” 14 I said to him, “My lord, you are the one who knows.” He said to me, “These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress;[c] they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
SECOND READING - 1 Jn 3:1-3
"We shall see him as he is."
A reading from the Letter of John
1 [a]See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed[b] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 Everyone who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure.
GOSPEL OF THE DAY - Mt 5:1-12a
"Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven."
✠From the Gospel according to Matthew
1 [a]When he saw the crowds,[b] he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. 2 He began to teach them, saying:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,[d]
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 [e]Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 [f]Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
6 Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,[g]
for they will be satisfied.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 [h]Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,[i]
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you [falsely] because of me. 12 [j]Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS - Gospel (Matthew 5:1-12a)
THE WORD OF GOD FOR EVERYONE
Dear People of God,
Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints in heaven. The Saints are the faithful who lived lives pleasing to God the Father while on Earth. They underwent purifications, trials, and many difficulties. Yet, because they remained steadfast and faithful to God the Father, He cleansed them of every stain of sin in both souls and bodies.
So that now, they are enjoying the glorious and radiant countenance of God the Father.
They are now perfectly happy in His presence, continually worshiping and singing praises to God, the Most High the Almighty One, who is rich in Mercy.
God the Father has given us this feast so that humanity may learn to live in communion with the Saints in the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Saints constantly intercede before God the Father on behalf of all people living on earth, that we may learn to live in a way that is pleasing to Him.
God the Father loves humanity, He has, in His providence, allowed the Saints to accompany humanity. Yet, humanity has not yet recognized the gift of His love.
Therefore, through today’s Word of God calling everyone to:
Follow the example of the saints in the distant past, who endured such arduous purifications and trials, and who maintained their faithfulness to God the Father to the very end; thus, they pleased God the Father and were granted the privilege to enjoy His holy presence.
The saints have shown humanity the path to holiness to please God the Father, which is the path of the Eight Beatitudes. The Eight Beatitudes are God the Father's teachings to help humanity live more perfectly each day.
Always have firm faith in God the Father, so that He may enlighten and guide you on the path to holiness according to each person's circumstances.
And to live a holy and perfect life before God the Father, each person must undergo purifications full of challenges and difficulties, must walk the path of the Eight Beatitudes, which is the path of perfection, always pleasing to God the Father.
Walk the path of the Eight Beatitudes to enter and enjoy the holy presence of God the Father, just as the saints of old also had to walk the path of the Eight Beatitudes, which are the path of sorrow, persecution, and condemnation. It is the path of purification and love.
Look at each Beatitude to choose the path to holiness, to follow the example of the saints of old, for no saint could enjoy the holy presence of God the Father without undergoing arduous trials and purifications.
Be at peace, steadfast, and firm in the faith in the love that God the Father bestows upon humanity; do not waver, do not worry, do not fear, and walk steadfastly on the path that Jesus Christ walked and gave teachings throughout His worldly journey, which is the path of sacrifice, the path of suffering and the cross.
God the Father desires humanity to undergo purifications, to endure hardships and trials, so that when He calls them out of this world, they will surely enjoy glorious happiness in the Kingdom of Heaven, enjoying the light of the revered presence of God the Father.
God the Father always loves and calls humanity never to be separated from Him, never separated from His love; for that very love will help humanity advance steadfastly on the path of suffering, of the cross, which Jesus Himself and the saints walked in the past; for only by undergoing trials, hardships, and suffering can one reach glory.
Look at the path of holiness according to the Eight Beatitudes that God Himself taught to humanity,; live each beatitude to the fullest to walk on the path of holiness.
God the Father always awaits humanity to become holier each day so that after God the Father calls them out of this world, humanity may be worthy to be granted eternal happiness with God the Father.
Thanks be to God. Amen.
